Catherine Bell is a tall and athletic model born in London. Bell relocated with her mother to Los Angeles when she was a child. The actress dropped out of the college to pursue a modeling career in Japan despite her intention to study premed in school. In L.A., after doing a few commercials on TV and minor film roles, she also made guest-starring appearances on TV shows. Isabella Rosellini used her as her body-swapping mate when The Death became Her was released in 1992. She met her future husband (Adam Deason) at the film set.
