Hayley is an American actress and singer. Many people recognize her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. However, she considers herself primarily an artist. At the age of 9 of age, she began playing around with music. As she grew to 12 old, music was taken seriously enough to warrant professionally trained. At 13, she began creating songs. Her debut album in the age of 14. Since then, there's nothing but positive. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic heritage. She's proud of her fact that she has Hispanic origins, although she was raised using English only and never lived in Mexico. Her aim is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs and taking classes in the Spanish language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X Factor when she uploaded a YouTube performance video. She received four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage in Seattle. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she along with three female singers were grouped in the final auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the fifth week in the Live performance.
