Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is the first woman to have ever won the two CrossFit Games. Annie was second at the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The media has praised her for being the first woman ever to win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie together with her the rest of her family, was raised in Reykjavik Iceland. At a very early childhood, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and was a fan of doing exercises. She was awarded numerous medals at school events. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit games at California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years older (as at 2021). She stands 5'7 tall, and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie started her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She was able to perform very well in the initial competitions. Annie was ranked among the top 10 out of more than 70. Although she didn't win any title she ended the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Her coach Jami Tikannen guided her to a second place finish at the CrossFit Games, and a medal of silver in that year. It was in her second year, she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie has an impressive performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games. Besides this in 2014 she won a silver medal and recently in 2021 won the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a trainer and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae and many other.
