Zoe-perry
Perry is a Chicago native born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Two of her earliest television appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed her role. She was not allowed to perform with her parents till she reached the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the anxiety it could cause. Perry states that she did not want to perform in highschool but decided to start acting as a social activity at Northwestern University when she switched to it from Boston University. Perry began her career in New York after graduation, getting small role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry go back to California and find work as a stage actress. She appeared on Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. In 2015, she starred alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a lead role in nine episodes of ABC's drama The Family. Perry was also featured in the role of a political thriller Scandal alongside her father. The actress also portrayed her older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, which is a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The character was assigned by audition despite the fact that she is a relative with the character.
